Newb Black ws-6

Hey guys I just bought my 1999 Black on Graphite WS-6 about 2 weeks ago and I finally got around to washin her up realll good. And throwing some wax on her. Tell me what you think and be honest if there is any things im missing. :)

OH btw the wheels and tires had not been done yet.

It has Headers , exhaust , Programmer , With an MTI lid and a Z06 clutch on the way. Im thinking of a H/C setup in a few months. Oh and im getting the front grills back to black I HATE the silver intakes :rolleyes: Previous owner ( older guy) Thought it may look neat but otherwise garaged it and took excellent care of it :D
 
What's missing...hmmm....Me in the drivers seat.

I would say get a new set of wheels though, I hate stockers.
 
hehe , I can honestly say this is the first in a long list of cars that I have owned that my first desire was not to change the wheels. I love em. But maybe some blacked out HRE's or something in the future
 
I've had the same wheels before too and I liked them at the time, but wanted 18s so I went with chrome Z06's and have never looked back.



Blac HRE's would be crazyyyy beautiful on that ride. Expensive also!

VERRY EXPENSIVE :bow But ohhh sooo beautiful. Im thinking sting before bling. Does anyone know where I can find some clear reflectors ? Those are the only things bothering me about teh exterior.
 
When you say clear reflectors..what do you mean? I know many places to get exterior mods for us F-body owners. Are you a member of an Fbody forum? If not I got plenty to tell you about.
 
Very nice looking car...looks just like mine with the exception of the wheels, grills and the door trim. You should really take the trim pieces off. Gives the car much cleaner lines. I'll get some pictures of it next week after the first full detail if you want to see what it would look like without them.
 
That would be awesome blkwidow02. I never even considered that... Good idea but ill wait for pics shoot me a PM when they come out that way I dont miss em

Oh yeah, you forgot to dress the wheel wells :) (you asked).
 
hehe I didnt know you could dress wheel wells... I really gotta read up. And what do you mean whats on the pain ? Wax wise ?
 
tcarswell: Definitely remove the side moldings.. I did this a long time ago and it was a huge improvement. You would not think it would be a big difference but it really makes the sides look cleaner. Its a very very easy mod to do if you need help let me know. Also if you dont take it off now, with time the color of it will start to whiten and you will want to take it off anyways.



What was your process on getting the car to look so good... polishes, waxes, equipment is what GSR means.
