Hello,
My name is Brian, I have recently started a Mobile Weekend Warrior Recon Business. This includes; Detailing, Paint chip repair, carpet dying, molding dying, headlamp restoration, and odor removal. I would like to add interior repair, wheel resurfacing, and glass repair this year. I started last year but only got as far as friends and family with almost no additional work. I also got an account with a trucking company which i had to drop because there was little work and barely any profit, but they wanted me readily available whenever they needed me. It proved not to be worth it. I know where i went wrong. I didn't market or push it as well as i should have. Everyone in my area shows 10 yrs, plus experience. They have photos and videos of what they have done. I guess i was a little intimidated. So,this year I would like to change that. I need to push a lot more. Market a lot better. I would like to be able to expand enough to quit my full time job. I have many marketing plans, but there is one i would like your opinion on. We have a lot of big office buildings in my area. I would like to approach the business management and see if they would allow me to offer my services to their rentees and give them a 10 percent of all sales for just letting me use their lot. Each of these buildings have over 100 people in them at one time. I would be going there once a week offering weekly wash services, detailing and more. Has anyone attempted to do this with any luck? Has it shown to be profitable and worth it? And of course, any other advice is appreciated.
