New Vroom towels at Target

As usual, I always make a quick pitstop in automotive when at Target, and I happened across some new microfiber towels. They had the standard 8 and 12 packs as well, but they had a few new ones that Ive never seen before, so I picked up a couple packs of each (5.99 for 2 towels). I'll do a more formal review of them soon, but at first glance, they seem like they have some merit. I'll keep ya posted!

If anyone already has some experience with these towels, feel free to chime in...would love to hear someones opinion who has already used them!

That orange and grey one looks a lot like the Turtle Wax Ice MF towels I picked up at Wal-Mart sometime back. FWIW, I really like those towels for QDing. At $3 a towel, though, I wonder if it's that great a deal when you might could shop around online and find some in bulk for around the same price (if not less). I don't know - haven;t shopped for towels in some time.

It's nice to see some quality stuff showing up at places that are local though. Hopefully, the trend will continue.

was at target the other day and saw they had the vroom m/f towels labled multipurpose in the auto dept. they were in a 5 pack in gray and white for $4. 3 gray and 2 white. the size is 14X14. did not try them yet. has anyone tried these towels and are they any good? should a towel for taking off wax and for buffing be bigger than 14X14? thanks

JarodPointer, I don't think $3/towel is great, but to find it local and get that price without buying large quantities is pretty nice, IMO at least.

Flagum, I believe the Vroom towels are acceptable, but they have better available than the general purpose. Pick up a couple nice ones for your paint, and a pack or two of the general purpose for your other stuff. If you marr your surface after you spent all day polishing, you'll wish you spent the extra 10 bucks. Call it a peace of mind fee. :)

I got a bunch of the "multi-pupose" mf's and they scratched the crap out of the CD I tested them on. They were white with orange edging. I'd only use these for interior or wheels.
