New Vehicle

I decided to trade in my 2008 Saturn Sky convertible for something a little more practical for my wife and I, so after considering many options, we had it narrowed down to the 2010 Buick Lacrosse, 2010 Nissan Maxima and the 2010 Acura TL. Needless to say, we decided on the 2010 Acura. So far, we absolutely love the car. We opted to get the Tech package with navigation. The only disappointment was that upon delivery the vehicle was "clean" to their standards, but not to mine. There was even some protective plastic left on the interior door pillars to protect the plastics of the vehicle. There were also some light scratches. I brought the car home, didn't get any before pics, because I was pressed for time, but was able to fully wash, clay, and remove defects. Anyway, here is the process and some pics:



Exterior:

Wash w/ Megs Hyper Wash w/ foam gun

Clay w/ Pinnacle yellow clay and Detail King Clay Lube

Menzerna SIP w/ orange LC pad-using PC7424

Menzerne 85rd w/ white LC pad-using PC7424

Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant w/ red LC pad-using PC7424

CG Butter Wet Wax w/ red LC pad-using PC7424



Wheels/Tires:

Wheels cleaned w/ Detail King's Brake UP using EZ detail brush & b.h. brushes

Tires cleaned w/ Detail King's Tire/Whitewall cleaner w/ darkening agent

Tires dressed with Black Magic Titanium Tire wet gel

Wheels treated with BFWD and CG Butter Wet Wax



Chrome treated w/ Eagle 1 Nano polish

Interior was in good shape, overall, so nothing was done on the interior.



I love the pearl and metal flake in this color. I was never a "white car" guy, but this I love. Hope you enjoy the few pics I took.
