Hey guys I just got a new Mini Cooper S and it is silver with a black roof. I want to keep the car looking new. The black roof worries me, what is the best way to keep it looking great. Waxing or polishing it a lot is no problem, I enjoy working on my car.
 
you want to keep the roof looking nice if you can wax it once every 2-3 weeks with Blitz wax The car should glow in the dark
 
We have a new Cooper S as well. What color is yours, pure silver or dark silver? Ours is Dark Silver/White Top with the black and blue leather interior.

The best thing for caring for your car is not to let it get away from you. How much money do you want to put into this? Maybe you should look into a Porter Cable orbital buffer to take of the inevitable swirls that will happen.



Look into all kinds of products, Blitz, Zaino, Blackfire, Klasse. Use the search feature on the boards, try stuff out for yourself, develop your own opinions on what works, and before you know it you'll be telling other people what to use and why.



Knowledge is power, and there is more here than you'll know what to do with.

I saw one yesterday in town. He had no problem getting into the paralell space. Wish I could say the same.:rolleyes:

Yup, they've been here for a little while. Last time I went out to the Sunset Strip there was one parked on the street. You shoulda seen all the girls there drooling over it. :D
