Just got a 2006 Bright Red F-150 and plan on detailing it this weekend. :woot: It only has some slight marring to take out. :buffing:

Exterior

wash, clay, wash

optimum polish with lake county green pad

chem guys aio with lake county white pad

rmg with l.c. black pad or p2 blue pad

top with nattys blue by hand

Tires & Rims

clean tires with pb's apc 3:1

polish chrome rims with clearkote metal polish

seal with pb's wheel sealant

dress tires with pb's bnb

Trim & Windows

use chem guys vrt on all black trim

clearkote metal polish on chrome siderails and bumpers

should i use a sealant over the polish, leave it alone after the polish?

cg vrt or pb's trim restore on the bed liner

cg aio over the windows

pb's tr over all weather striping

Interior & Jams

door latches are covered in grease and need to be cleaned out

cg aio over the door jams

top with ocw

pb's natural look on dash/door panels

I'm not sure what to use on the chrome trim on the interior.

should i do anything to the cloth seats? scotch gaurd maybe?

Thanks for going over all this, any suggestions or comments are appreciated. :xyxthumbs

Plan looks good and thorough to me. For the exterior chrome trim I would use a sealant. Scotch gaurding the seats is not a bad idea. It will help prevent future staining a little more then without it.
