New trim pieces/paint question

Hello,



Just got new flared rocker panels (side skirts) installed on my 2002 Porsche 911 cab. They came unpainted, and were painted to match at the body shop.



What. if anything, should I do/not do/avoid etc... as far as the paint goes.



I thought I remembered that new paint has to cure or something before it's waxed or anything.

Talk to your painter about cure times and waxing. Only they know what was used on them and what the timeline is. At least find out if they were clearcoated or not.



From there, wax and polish as usual.
