New Tires for the Maxima

It's time to get new tires for the wife's '02 Maxima. I'm looking at two tires right now, both which have some kind of tread wear warranty. Two of the candidates are:

Cooper Lifeliner SLE 50k warranty

Continental Contact CV95 60k warranty

With the OEM tire size (225 50 17) of the Maxima, the choices are somewhat limited. I don't need ultra high performance (i.e. Michelin Pilot Sport), but something that is good in all conditions. I think more importantly, I want something that she can put a decent amount of miles on. I'm currently running Falken ZIEX-512's, which lasted about 30k miles.

Do any of you out in autopia have any experience with these tires?

I'm open to other suggestions, also, as I haven't made a final decision. Thanks guys.

When I was going to buy a Max, I was looking up new tires. Kumho seemed to have the best bang for the buck, but the two you listed seem good too.

Read the reviews on tirerack.com they are very helpful and informative.

Can you get Goodyear Assurance TripleTreads in that size? They're a little on the pricey side, but they're stupendous!!

I'm about to get some on my car!

On a bang-for-a-buck spectrum, the Kumhos are hard to beat!

First, I'd like to congratulate you on getting rid of the Blow-tenzas. Secondly, the Falkens, Toyos, and Michelin Pilot Sport A/Ss would be a good choice.
