Did anyone else update to the latest version of the Tapatalk app?? I did on 2 IOS devices and absolutely hate it. I had to go back and install the older version.
 
Bill that's the biggest problem. There is no "new posts". Only "trending. Thankfully I was able to install the older version.
 
I did and it's terrible. All the trending threads are a month old. currently reverting back to a much older version. which will make me very happy.

Does anyone have an IOS backup with an older version, say, 1-2 releases back? I've only got a very old one, but I'm still much happier.
 
It was by far my most used app and after the update it's nothing more than a worthless turd. I got rid of it all together
 
I too like the last version before the update. It feels like... well crap. And the pop ups are annoying. I know they want to make money but why start now.

I agree 100%. It was probably the most used app on my Iphone and Ipad. It was perfect before any of the updates. I mean do I really need a "New Feed" or see whats "Trending". I just want to login and see new posts.
 
I'm 100% Tapatalk as well. I haven't looked at this forum on a computer ever. I have the new app as well. I've been using Tapatalk a while, and usually find I hate the major changes at first, but it's simply because you are not used to them. My initial reaction was I hate the new version - but I'm getting used to it.

I'm not sure about pop ups. My Tapatalk has no pop ups.
 
My tablet is big enough and view as I would on my PC via Google Chrome and refuse to use tapatalk. Is there an advantage to go the route of tapatalk?
 
If it wasn't for tapatalk, I wouldn't have time to read most forums. I actually wish there was a PC client. Most forums are so ridiculously bloated. The old 3d autopia was the absolute worst.

Delete the app on your IOS Device. Then reinstall from an old backup. Just remember when you connect to ITunes to not sync until you select to install the old Tapatalk app.
 
I open the app and it crashes on me right after I click anything. Back to the old version. I really need to turn off auto updates...

I agree as well. This update was terrible. The "trending"/"news feed" is pointless and full of stuff I don't want to read. Someone is trying to over complicate this app when in reality it needs to be simplified. I rather see just topics and words instead of someone's profile picture highlighted.
