New shoes what to dress with and method of application?

So I just got new tires for the truck. The new Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in a 33.5/11/18 and love the look. Very aggressive side wall for an all terrain tire, snow rated, and 55k warranty. Time will tell on durability. On to the question

Trying to decide what to do with the tires to get in the knobbies.

1. Optibond applied via paint gun weekly

2. Tuf Shine: Can this be applied with air delivery, apply with brush, or patience and the sponge?

Nothing for 500+ miles till release agent wears off, then clean really and coat em?

That is what I was thinking just trying to figure best delivery method. The wait will kill me to get them dressed.

Are there any other tire Coatings worth looking at? I have Tuf Shine, but willing to get another if it will perform better.

I was gonna say bold n bright via carrand tire dressing brush applicator

Whaa? Release agent? Uh oh i guess I didn`t do that ever.

Yeah its the "wax" they use in the molds so when the rubber is forming it releases from the mold. Finish Kare I believe is in that market, and FK1KP is a derivative of a release or is a release agent.

Depends on how you`re using it. I like gel on my cars low profile smooth sides

Spray on truck tires for me

Carrand tire brush applicator for spray

I like the same for gel or a tuff shine dressing blocks are good too for smooth low profiles

My opinion of course

I never wait (for the Release Agent, or anything else, to dissipate), heh heh it can sometimes take a *LONG* time for me got get 500 miles on something! Mold-release stuff cleans off with a little work and the right stuff, and that`ll clean off any mounting-product that the installers used too.

I clean the tires with Griot`s Rubber Prep and dress them as soon as I get the tires mounted (good time to do the wheels too).

Yeah, FK1000P was developed as a mold-release product, and also as a competitor to M16 (Floyd Meguiar`s way of sticking it to the family business).

Then there is always the tarminator method as well

Dressing I won`t wait, but coating I will.

Somebody`s probably gonna say something cautionary about using a petro-solvent on tires. I`m not all that paranoid about the approach, but when it comes to cleaning rubber I really am all about that Griot`s Rubber Prep, something I believe *EVERY* Autopian oughta have on the shelf.

Gotta say that those tires would drive me nuts, I simply hate dressing most tires anyhow, and that particular model really looks like a PIA to do.
