Here are some pics of my new garage floor. Still have some trimming out to do. Overall the installation of the Race Deck tiles was relatively simple.

Looks great. Nice job.

Your initial impressions?

I am considering going this route as well.

pt91, I think the Race Deck is a huge improvement over the bare concrete. I wish it felt more solid when walking on it. When walking on the tile it has a hollow sound. The garage door seals very well now with the front pieces of the flooring. I will be installing some type of coving to give more of a finished look. Overall I am very happy with it.

:woot: wow, awesome! that is what I would like to do when my house is finished too, how do you deal with dirt, water and etc. being stuck between the gaps? that would be my main concern.

armoredsaintt: the tiles go together tight. i would think water could get between them, but, i do not think sand would fit in the seam. i had the same concern about dirt and water so i went with this flooring that had the solid surface.

LarryM: a little over $1600.

Sig: $3.29 per tile

Thanks for the nice comments. :D

Did you have to trim the outside parts to make it fit perfectly from edge to edge on your garage floor?

armoredsaintt: i am in the process of trimming tiles around the stairs and on one side. there are about 14 tiles that need to be trimmed. i am using a black and decker jigsaw. the tiles are tricky to cut. the design on the underside tends to push the jigsaw off track. it is challenging to get a straight line.

EricZ: having your own garage is very cool :)
