Today I got to try out some new products at Autopia, Britemax. I used the Britemax Iron Max on a Lexus 300h. To my eye the car didn't look too bad, just a light dirt/dust and minimal brake dust on the wheels.
I sprayed the wheel down with the product, and I found to my surprise that it didn't smell all that bad. Usually with other iron removers I can't even hardly breathe when I am using them. The Britmax Iron Max had a hint of cherries and a hint of Iron X.
After spraying the product on I let it dwell for a couple minutes and agitated it with a speed master wheel brush. Then I rinsed the wheel off.
I also tested the product on the paint as well, and with the car being fairly new, I didn't expect hardly any contamination, but there was some iron fallout:
All in all, the product did what it was made to do, it removed iron contaminates and brake dust, and the smell wasn't bad at all, so a gas mask is not required when using this product.
