new PC thoughts

I am reposting my thread here after no responses where it was before.

finally was warm enough to try out my new PC and products I bought over the last few months. I did this on my work vehicle just to see how everything works out before I go to my trucks and the g/f's. I only did the trunk lid on the car as it has never to the best of my knowledge been wax polished or anything else, other than an occasional wash.

thoughts on products and process. PC, Edge 2K pads, OP, OPS, Fleetwax

started w/clay, heavy on the clay

rinse

OP on Green pad didn't like how thing were going so I went to a yellow pad (thinking I might need OPC or OPHC at a later time as I've been told that the GM paints are quite hard)

OPS on green pad thought it looked pretty good at that point.

Fleetwax (paste) by hand and buffed.

keep in mind that this is a 13 yr old car that is used as a service vehicle. it is very common for my boss, manager and other workers to leave things for me on the car.

pics are here .I don't think this one will look as good as what some of you guys post. its just a work car. this is for me to get familiar w/ the process and technique. on a side note I love the easy of the Edge 2K system.

hood is next, oh almost forgot there is creosote stains on the car any idea how to get them off.

thoughts, comments, suggestions.

thanks in advance.
