New PC, No Polish....

Hey guys,

First of all I would like to thank everyone for persuading me to purchase a PC ;) . I ordered one at Lowes for store pick up at $99. I'm lucky to have some of my friends chip in since we're all going to use it but I'll be the caretaker.

I just have a few questions on which polish you think is best for me. The few I've read into have been PB's SSR's, Sonus SFX's, Menzerna IP/FP, and a few OTC polishes. I still don't know which brand, or brands will fit my needs.

The main car on my list is a 2003 Nissan Maxima. The car's paint is in excellent condition since I joined this forum shortly after the purchase of the car :bounce . The paint shows very slight swirls only in some angles but is really hidden by the Klasse twins. I know to remove these swirls, I won't need anything too abrasive, so which polish would be best for paint in very good condition.

My second car is a 1995 Nissan Altima. This car was bought used and the paint is well, in very used condition. The right rear panel has been repainted, is this safe to use a polish on? Well anyway, this has all the problems a '95 car would have, but no major scratches, bunch of minor scratches, swirls galore, and the list goes on :( For this car, a more abrasive polish, SSR2.5 may be needed.

I will also be doing my friends '97 Mustang (red). His paint is in pretty good conditions, just swirls seen in every angle.

I really would like to buy just a set of one brand, for example, Menzerna's IP/FP combo, or PB's SSR's. Also this will be the first time I will be using the PC, so which of these polishes do you feel with be the easiest to use. I will be using my Altima to do my practice with the PC.

BTW, I will be topping everything off with the KLASSE TWINS!!! :bow

I'd get the SSRs. You MIGHT need SSR3 for really bad stuff, but you'll probably want to stick with SSR2.5 with a cutting pad for bad swirls.

If you don't have any final polishes (GEPC, #80, FPII...) then SSR1 may come in handy as well.
