New Paint care

I've had the front of my M3 redone. Get rid of all those horrible little chips etc.



It's been just over 5 weeks. Is that enough time for the paint to cure? Should I prep the surface in anyway, before I wax it?



It looks brand new, but is there any specifics I should be aware of with newer paint jobs?

I heard after 30 days you should use 3m Imperial Hand glaz would be an excellant product. It contains no Wax orsilicones. worth a try. jj

For the first 30 to 60 days you should use 3m Imperial hand glaze, after that you can use a light polish than wax or seal the paint> call the shop that did the repainting they will tell you.

It depends on how the shop painted the car, if they used a down draft spray booth and it has been five weeks i would say it is ok to polish with a body shop safe product but dont wax it yet, wait another month to be sure.
