New OCW

I tried the New OCW about 2 weeks ago when I recieved a sample. I wasn't sure I would really need the New OCW since I already use Opti-Seal and FK425. The results were great and I'll be ready to order a gallon of the New OCW when I need to purchase more ONR.

The New OCW is easy to apply and has a great shine and depth. I clayed my LS460 and put on a coat of Opti-Seal. After waiting 24 hours, I added the New OCW.

I was amazed at the slickness of the New OCW and how it added depth to the already reflective Opti-Seal. I was also amazed that the New OCW applies and removes easily like a QD. In fact, OCW is as easy to use as my FK425.

Some people have questioned the durability of the Old OCW. I really don't care about the durability of the New OCW since I won't ever go more than 3-4 weeks without applying another coat of the New OCW.

Here are some pics over the last 2 weeks.

I wish I didn't have so much AW to use up because OCW ver. 2 and Optimum's wheel cleaner (haven't heard any new info on that lately) are probably the 2 products I want to try out the most.

It's (the ID) kinda cool to watch, you mist the panel rub it in as it instantly flashes off and leaves a very noticable slickness. The product looks like it's gonna streak as it's flashing, but then it doesn't even on my Black Landcruiser. Makes UQD look like water, Not Kidding! Redefines QD.

You have 4 good places to buy it...

Dealersdomain, obsessivedetail, danase and exceldetail

I believe each of the retailers has it on sale right now too. Some of them have it on sale and offer 10% off on top of the sale price... Shop wisely and you can get a very good deal on the stuff. I just stocked up.

If you want quantities of several products, you can buy direct from Optimum. Dr.G told me they offer a case(4 gallons) discount of 25% and they will mix and match the products. I just got OID, OCWv.2, ONR, and OCWash and saved like $36.

Do you mean a gallon of each 4? Or case of each product, that's alot!

Now wait a darn minute, the description of the OID on Danase.com says it contains fluoropolymers (the family in which Teflon resides)...aren't we going to get a chorus of "Teflon doesn't work in car care products, only on frying pans"?
