NEW! Nanoskin Speedy Shine Bumper & Tire Gel REVIEW

I used Nanoskin Speedy Shine Bumper & Tire Gel on my 2008 Chevy Express Van. The van hadn't been cleaned in a couple months and the front bumper has never been altered with any type of trim conditioner so this will be the first time the vehicle is being "detailed". This is a Florida vehicle so the sun has done some damage to the plastic.

50/50 The Nanoskin Speedy Shine Bumper & Tire Gel was easy to apply with a foam applicator, it spread out even, dried really quick, and it did not leave a greasy feel after application.

The bottom part of the bumper is metal, so I decided to experiment and try the product on it and it turned out pretty well, there was minimal streaking, but it gave it a nice deep gloss look.

The Nanoskin Speedy Shine Bumper & Tire Gel made the bumper and trim look brand new! I was very surprised with the outcome, even though it recommended to clean the surface before applying, it wasn't needed.

I also used The Nanoskin Speedy Shine Bumper & Tire Gel on the tires as well.

Finished: It was easy to apply, and gave it a wet, high gloss look.

No buffing required?

Please report back on durability in a month :D

It was an easy application for all the plastic pieces, when it came to the metal piece, I had to scrub a little harder in order for the product to settle in. I will keep you updated with the durability.

Nice review. Your bumper looks great.

Question - whats the light blue on your 50/50 tire shot:

Is that Nanoskin Speedy Shine Bumper & Tire Gel residue? And if so, how did the tires look once fully cured? Is the product dry to the touch?

That picture was taken during the application, after it dries it just leaves a black gloss finish, the blue residue goes away. I had to apply more than usual because the tires were really dry.

Cool, thanks for the follow-up reply!

Update! After two weeks and tons of rain and Florida heat:

Some of the waves came back, and the black plastic lightened up a little, but I'll apply another coat in a couple weeks to keep it looking good. It should hold up a little longer with the second coat.

With this product the durability isn't the best, and I wasn't expecting it to last, since it is $9.99, but it did rejuvenate the bumper really well, and it is very quick and easy to use. I'm very happy with this product, and I don't mind keeping the bumper maintained every month.
