New Name Help

Aloha Everyone. I have been a fellow Autopian for sometime now. I have helped a lot of folks and i have also been helped a lot by reading up on different subjects here.



I am seeking everyone's help. I feel that i have gotten to the point where i out grew my business name. When i started to detail a number of years back i didn't know any of what i now know. I feel that my business name no longer suites me and makes me feel like a amateur or a rookie.



I would like suggestions for a new name. Something catchy but at the same time i would like it to be very professional.



Come the new year i would like a new name to represent my business.

what's up toyo . . . . i remember speaking to you about your work before.



I'm actually located out in Hawaii but i'm not sure that i want to incorporate that into the name only because i want a good professional name that can stick with me in the event that i move.



I still am thinking about moving back to California at some point.
 
How about giving me some more information about your company... Who's your target audience? IOW, do you do mostly soccer moms' cars or exotics? What's the name of your company now? Give me ALL the information you can about your company, whether you think it's important or not, and I'll try my best to help you :).

jesse. well as far as targeted people im trying to get things into more of the corrective type work. right now people here are use to the low prices and the hack style work. i want to give people what they deserve. my goal is not to be the least expensive but to provide superior work and top notch customer service/satisfaction.



i started off as anyone else probably did not knowing a ton and from the beginning to the present i have stuck with

i didnt know any better at the time but now that i know what i do i feel that the name might be holding me back and might make some of the higher end type clientel think a little more.



the name sounds very amateur and since i have grown i would like to have a name that can represent me and the work i do. business is a little rough out here in hawaii but im still holding on in hopes of reshaping things and creating the proper care place for people to come to.

I call my detailing venture WaxWorks.
 
Keep them coming guys. New year is near and i'm hoping to find something.



Looking for a exotic type name if at all possible.



Something with maybe Luxury, Spa, Concourse or something along those lines if possible or just a really really perfect name.

Its funny i havnt been doing this too long but i wish i would have done something diff. Highline something would be my choice if i could to it again

You should check to make sure the name you choose is not in use by another detail or car wash operation in your area. This includes names that are similar. There is a term called 'right of usage' which basically says that whoever has used a name the longest has the 'right of usage'. This is usually only an issue if you choose a name that is the same or similar to another operation, and they decide to go after you. I have noticed lots of operations near me who seem to have very similar names as my operation. It can be very confusing to potential customers.

Same to you DJ. There is some new guy in Centreville called Wet Reflections Auto Detailing or something. I have debated on whether to call him out on the name. he also uses the term auto salon and uses the registered symbol, as if he has the registered trademark on the the term Salon.
 
Think of some other words in other languages like hawaiian that you could put detailing, or perfection, or something like that... There is another guy on here that does AMAZING work and he calls his detailing business ESOTERIC Detailing which belonging to the very few... if u haven't seen any of his work I HIGHLY recommend looking at his website. He knows his stuff and he has amazing cleintel
