whats up all? I just got a new 05 ranger edge. I have been detailing on the side 4 some time now, i joined to get some info from you guys! and o boy do yall have some. I have some basic off the shelf stuff but i wanted to know if there was a good "starter kit" you know poor boys etc. please post back and keep me up dated

Welcome Edgey! Your now part of the city, so good luck. This is a great place to keep your ranger clean and protected. Read up on some past topics and you'll find the basic 'must have' detail items.

-My starter kit would be some SSR2.5, SSR1, AIO and UPP. That's just my suggestion, others will give you hundreds of other ideas. Good luck!

thanks yall for the open welcome(s). Im trying to find more of a "kit" like a package deal you know? i looked on poorboys site and found a few things but im sure yall know whats best. by the way the color of my truvk is red if that helps any? im also going to try to get some pics up!

I would talk with Steve from poorboys. i'm sure he can hook it up for you. Maybe email him or call the phone # on his site.

:welcome to DC, Edgey!!

We've got great members with lots of knowledge & even more opinions!!! Hang on to your wallet!! :lol

You didn't say if you would be using a PC, Cyclo or Rotary, but if you're doing it all by hand, Poorboy's products can't be beat - IMHO!! And SpecialtyMotoring has some great "customizable" kits! Call or p/m Scott & get his recommendations for your red Ranger.

There are lots of great kits out there its is all just a matter of preference and which one you choose to buy. There are kits available fom all of our wonderful sponsors; IMO the best bets would be something from Poorboys, Adams, Four Star, Pinnacle, Wolfgang, or Menzerna. If you have a rotary Menzerna might be the right choice, they make some great products that perform superbly with rotary buffers. Good luck!
