Hello everyone! I just recently found this board and I'm looking forward to reading and learning alot from you. I've already learned alot in the short time that I've been reading this forum. I would like to apologize in advance to everyone for asking tons of questions. I was just recently bitten by a huge detailing bug and I can't seem to shake its affects. :woot2:

I'm in south Texas. Dallas is about eight to nine hours from here. The weather around here has been pretty bad lately. The other day I washed my truck and that night it began to rain. Just my luck. I can't for the weather to get better so I can try some new stuff on my truck.

Howdy Bullitt! Do you know of any places in Houston that sell quality detailing products? I was recently in SA and called a couple of places that I found in the phone book that said they sold detailing supplies. Went by one and all they had was industrial sized cleaners and their mf towels weren't that great.

Well, don't know where exactly on the Gulf Coast your from but I go through many sources to get products. Most of my product list comes from the internet, because I can find the stuff that they don't sell OTC. But living on the coast has its advantages. I can pick up all my 303 Aerospace products,Flitz, Plexus, Megs,3M all from boating stores(West Marine). There's some good finds at many auto parts stores too . Here's a list off the top of my head.

Car Quest-Duragloss,Aquapel, clay magic(red and blue)

Advance- , Stoners IG

AutoZone-clay magic, Surf City

Pep Boys-Surf City, Brinkman

Oreilly-in the car paint section they have the Megs Mirror Glaze products and even sell the #21 at $3 cheaper than the NXT they have up front. They also have #1-12. Tasco Auto Color- they have many locations in Texas and sell 3M and Megs pro lineup. I buy all my Megs products here because if they don't have it they can get it, saves on shipping. This is where I get the M105,M205 from as well as APC's, Megs sprayers and Clay Magic.

Lowes-Folex, Halogens and the Grout sponges of course.

Hope this helps a little, I know I could think of more but I'm out of the house on my Blackberry.

Bullit, I recently discovered that HEB has Stoners for about a dollar less than any other place I've found locally. They also had some Meg's stuff on sale a couple of weeks ago, but when I finally got a chance to go back the sale had finished.

Welcome! Firehouse detail in Houston is an authorized dealer for Tropi-care products if you have any experience with that. Other than that I get most of my stuff from the internet.
