Hey everyone! Just a shout from Alameda, across the bay from San Francisco, CA. I've already used some advice that I've received in the forums regarding washing and drying. Just bought a new Mercedes C63 AMG and want to keep it looking good as long as possible!

Interested in people's views regarding products for trim, rubber moldings and interior dash (that is not leather).

Thanks!

AJ

Welcome to D.C. I preffer the Poorboy's World line of products and use Trim Restorer for rubber molding. As for the interior I use Poorboy's World Leather Stuff even on stuff that is plastic or vinyl, IMO it does a great job and does'nt leave a greasy look. I also want to try Poorboy's World natural look dressing as it comes highly reccomended.

Hi from the other coast.

Well you came to the right place !! Lots of good info, lots of good people to share their info with the rest of us.

I agree with Dave in what he said above, except I only use leather stuff for leather. I use PB Natrual Look for the plastic and vinyl.

Enjoy your time here, as I said it's a fun place.

Wow!.. Good to see such an active group on DC too. Any favorites people have for finish on tires?

Try PB bold n brite.

Its a cleaner and protectant all in one. Does a nice job, doesn't sling.

I learned this from another member, easiest to apply wiht a paint brush. So I put mine in an old coffee container and keep the brush in it all the time. Oh yeah, you can do the wheel wells with it too. Just spray it in there. Make sure you get all visable areas with the spray.

Bold and Bright is a really good product as Ron said, I also use it as a dressing in the engine compartment. It makes engine bay look brand new.

^ Uh, yeah. That should've been the first thing you did, lol. J/K, and welcome. Enjoy your time here, and hope you learn a lot.

Need pics of that Merc, STAT.
