New leather seats

Hopefully - I'll be picking up a new Maxima on Friday. Like many aspiring sports sedans, it has nice bolsters on the seat cushion and back. My experience has been that sliding in and out of heavily bolstered seats eventually scuffs the coating off the bolsters.

My car will have premium leather in lieu of 'standard' leather. Not sure if that means coated or aniline in this case. In either case, does anyone have any suggestions for product/process to avoid or minimize the scuffing?

I think the best protection is to minimize friction when you getting in and getting out of the car. The less you rub against that left bolster, the better it's going to look. I learned a technique where I am twisting myself into a seat in a way that I am not touching (or slightly touching) the left bolster.

I really like the 1Z leather care, it is the only product that I have used that seems to actually put a thicker coating on the leather. It is carnauba based. It looks matte and doesn't smell like fake leather.
