New Jeep GC, but...

I know it's a new vehicle, but it came complete with dealer-installed swirls and bird-doo etching (it sat on the lot for awhile). After owning the Jeep for a couple weeks, I finally had a nice day when I wasn't working.

Here's the process used:
QEW wash
Clay
SSR1 with orange light cutting pad on hood (where swirls and etching were most obvious)
SSR1 with white polishing pad on entire vehicle
Wolfgang sealant on paint
BnB on tires/wheel wells
1Z Tiefenpfleger on plastic trim

I apologize for the attachments, my gallery uploads showed image pending approval? And, I realize my photos aren't the greatest - it was getting dark quickly, and I was soo cold and tired (our high today was only 37). The Jeep is getting a bug shield, splash guards, and sill guards installed tomorrow, so I'll try to take some daylight pictures.

Bottom line - I'm now a big fan of Wolfgang. It made my white paint look very glossy and reflective. I really didn't realize I could get reflections out of white, but I did! And after coming from a black vehicle, I wasn't sure how white was going to handle swirls and such. They were there, but I had to look for them, and SSR1 really took care of them.

Thanks to everyone on DC! Being gone for a year, I had a lot of catching up to do. It took a lot of reading, but I'm happy with my new regimen. Hopefully I can keep this Jeep looking as nice as it does today!

That looks really good on white. I've used the wolfgang sealant here and there and am very impressed with it. The slickness and looks it gives off truely are excelent. Good work!

Looks good and congrats on the new vehicle. I would advise against a BugGuard though. Those tend to rub the paint off in areas and also really do not do much to deflect bugs except for on the very front edge where they attach. Personal choice but thought i would give that advise.

Around here, it's not just the bugs, it's the rocks. Our two seasons (winter and construction) are marked by the change over in municipal trucks from cinders to chip seal. :wall My husband and I have been through two windshields each in the past 4 years, and we're considered the lucky ones! I wanted to get the clear bra for the truck, but nobody installs it around here, and I'm not going to try to tackle that on my own. I figured an $80 bug shield is better than a repaint on the hood, and may help save my windshield for a little while longer.

Ah well. Welcome to the sticks, huh? :D
