Hello all!
I've been hanging around for a couple of months. Made 3 posts.
I have been an active member on another forum and have been doing detailing since March and am ready to try some new products. Looking at 4*, poorboys, lc pads, and some others. I have a 7336sp, meg's pads, alot of products, just looking at other venues.
I have a white, dually, have yet to use the pc on it. All other details were with a 11" OB, and 1,2,3, meg's system. My question: What do you suggest? I have alot of meg's stuff #83, 80,81,82,9,7,pads and such.
I guess what I'm saying is I'm growing up ( in the detailing world) and want to branch out. How about a few suggestions.
Thanks for your help, I really like it here and want to stay awhile.

Welcome Mark !!!

Any one who hit 75 dingers in a season is welcome here !!! :lmfao

But seriously you are in the right place for great advise and some inspirational detailing demonstration and product reviews !!!

Greetings and :welcome to the DC . You have quite a collection of good products already . Get some pads for that PC and go to work ;)

Glad you’re here man. There is a wealth of knowledge here and every one is very nice and non-confrontational while sharing it.

Looks like you already have pretty good line up products but like most everyone here you are itching to try some new stuff with out finishing what you have. ( I swear we need a “for trade” or “buy this cheap” or “pay for shipping and I’ll send you…” forums. I’m sure every one is sitting on a bunch of stuff we probably won’t use again) I’ve been very please with the results I’ve received with my limited use of Poorboys and Clearkote. These are two great product lines. Both perform well in both sun and shade and are very easy to apply and remove.

Most of all have fun, learn, and share what you’ve learned.

Hi Mark,
:welcome
Looks like your reay to go with the Meg's products :lol

Do you have clay somewhere in that collection?
If not add that as well

Jaysb95,
Yes I have Clay, MF's, hot shine, mothers chrome polish, glass cleaners, rain-x, armoral glass cleaner (one of the best I have tried) and many more, my wife says too many more, " Don't you have enough stuff?" "Why do you want more?" You know the routine. Anyway I was wondering about the LC Pads, anyone have experince with the new ones?
Thanks for all the welcomes and suggestions

Mark, welcome to DC

I've have great results using LC 7.5" Advanced Pads with a 7336 PC. The velcro attachment is rock solid and much better quality than the LC 6" & 6.5" cupped pads.

When cleaning the smaller LC pads, you can pretty much roll them up into a ball, but the LC pads have more substance, more "uumph!!".

Have not tried the new LC Constant Pressure pads yet.

Hey NYV6Coupe, thanks for the reply. I have many Meg's pads but somehow they just don't seem to stick to, or hold very well on my machine. Maybe it's just me but it seems like they could just cut alittle better. I have to go all the way to the maroon pad to get any swril removal. I know the LC's have more than just the three levels, I'm just wondering if some of those inbetweens might be what I'm lookin for.
