New Gyeon Quickdetailer

Still wondering why Gyeon didn’t add any SiO2 in it to be in line with their coatings. Could have been a good competitor to CarPro Elixir or EcH20 at 1:20.

I have been wondering if SiO2 is even necessary in any QD or topper. Unless a chemist comes out of the woodwork and tells me SiO2 actually contributes much at less than 5% in toppers and really negligible amounts in a QD I am going to believe that SiO2 (in these products) is marketing hype. I believe polymers contribute much more to gloss and durability.

Regardless of the amount of SiO2 within a given product, it just does not make much sense given that Gyeon is a coating only company.
