Hello everybody, my name is lance. I just signed up and so far its an awesome experience. I own a 2001 chevy s10 2 wheel drive that has alot of modifications and also own an 87 dodge omni that I drive during the winter months. So my truck stays very clean and has never seen snow:biggrin: When I wash the exterior of my truck I always wash and rinse the tires and rims first along with spraying out the wheel wells. I never drive through mud or anything so the wells are usually pretty clean. I would like to scrub them or use a degreaser on them. I need some help with that. What product would be the best for a one step cleaning for the front wells and the rear painted wells? I cant wait to start talking to everybody. :punk:

Hey man,

Welcome to the forum!!

For wheel wells, I buy simple green and spray it all in the wells and let them sit for awhile. After that, I take a scrub brush I bought from the auto part store and scrub them down real good and after that let them dry....Then when im done I take armor all cut 1:1 and spray them down real well and its been working great for me. Let me know if you need anything else, im new here also but ill try to help you out!!

Thanks everybody! I used some purple power the other day on my wheel wells and I was very unhappy with the greasy streaking it left on the metal, and I never even let it dry. I just washed my truck today and parked it away in the garage for winter but next year I will try the simple green aproach. Does anybody else have any great techneques to cleaning wheel wells?
