I got suggested to this site by a detailer in memphis, tn. I hope to learn quite a bit on here and hope to maybe earn some pocket cash doing this for others. i have a 94 milano del sol, 94 milano jeep cherokee sport, 03 white civic, and friends 96 black civic coupe for all practice. I'd like to start with the del sol since there is some much body work going to be done I'm not worried about messing up. then the jeep since the body is real nice but a lot of trim to work on. then the 03 civic to maintain overall. the real test will be the 96 civic since it has a fair body but least amount of care and it's black so plenty of practice on swirls and light scratches. so shed some light on this beginer if you would.
Welcome to DC. Swirls and scratches need to be removed with good polishes and a buffer. The Porter Cable is a great one for those who are starting out. It is extremely safe and it you can still continue to use it even when you gain proficiency.

thank you. I have just started out using the search function first to try to study up on the tips given. I am going to start with interior and engine cleaning first to perfect that then paint and exterior. As I see it I can always enjoy and clean interior driving even when it's rainy outside
