Last weekend my wife and I decided to trade her ram in for an suv, we have had several tahoes in the past but she decided this time she wanted a durango. We made the 2 hour drive to our preferred dealer while harvey was blowing in and chose this 2017 durango gt with the blacktop appearance package. We got it home and in the garage and decided to start protecting it, don`t have a whole lot of pics as I can`t keep her out of it long enough to get any.

So far have done:
PB ss&s wash
iron x
clay
polish with sealant
mckees multi surface protectant
pb leather stuff
bold n bright
pb glass cleaner

This weekend:
rinseless wash with pinnacle rw
pa high gloss
sonus motor kote

I have some pa super sport on the way for the rims, will get more pics one day this week and post them up

Nice Car. When we were shopping we looked at all the 3 row SUV`s. Thought the Durango drove the best and was a good in between size (bigger than Honda, smaller than Tahoe).

ok so you have to get a new ride to post up here now, huh?
haha

looks great

nothing like a little storm trooper Durango competition FL vs TX :)

first one to add some tire shine WINS! :)

Congrats, IMO it is probably the best looking mid sized SUV out there, love the color too.

Thanks everyone, we looked at several other options but the durango was the best fit. We have a hard time picking vehicles because my wife is 5`3 and 125 lbs and im 6`4 and 290 lbs. Not many mid size suvs that i`m comfortable in.

dieselwrench- I too find it (oddly, given my size) tough to find truly comfortable vehicles. Does the Durango have a telescopic steering wheel/column? (I can tell it has plenty of headroom :D ).

That`s probably a good summary of why I like how it looks. Does remind me of the old Magnum wagon, especially without a roof rack.

Same for me. Its funny how the majority in this country view station wagons as a bad thing, wonder when they will come back around. I know I prefer one to a mini-van or SUV. May not extend your manhood like a big SUV does for some, but they are way more fun to drive.

And lol @ anyone who thinks a car/suv/wagon or any vehicle makes you ANYTHING. The badge on the front tells you who made it, it says NOTHING about who`s driving it. So sad that we have come to this in this country. Whatever is "cool" at the time is what you should drive...even if that means you make payments the rest of your life. So sad for those who have to follow trends instead of buying what they like and driving it no matter what others think.

Yeah, I always LOVED my wagons, some of the best vehicles I`ve ever had and I still miss a couple of `em (actually wish I`d kept them).

Funny how others respond to different vehicles! Back when I had the minivan and the Volvo guys would look me *right in the eye* and then cut me off, sure doesn`t happen in the Tahoe..night/day difference. Accumulatorette has noticed it too, it`s such a dramatic diff that we both consider the Tahoe *safer* because certain people don`t disrespect it. And we`ve found that insome conditions (even with everything running snowtires), 4WD and ground-clearance get us there when AWD (let alone FWD) and a conventional ride height wouldn`t. NEVER had conditions that the Tahoe can`t handle, and we did have had some that were beyond our Quattros, let alone the minivan.

Man, that Durango looks so good I`m thinking I oughta have the roof-rails shaved off the Tahoe.

Yes the steering column is fully adjustable and the seats have alot more rearward travel than I expected them to. I was very surprised at the amount of room it had, especially switching from a full size truck
