new detailing plan for fall. any suggestions?

I have been away from detailing for awhile, but now its time that for a fresh start.

Can you guys tell me if my plan is ok? I forgot which pads to use with what product.



1.wash with dish soap to get rid of old residue

2. clay bar

3. menzerna IP with rotary PC (yellow or orange pad?)

4. Klasse AIO (what pad should i use?)

5. Klasse seal (white or black pad?)

5. souveran wax with hand

I'm having a little trouble with you being proficient enough to use a rotary, but not able to remember what pad to use. You don't say what kind of condition the car is in, but I'd stick with the orange pad with the IP. IMO, going from IP to KAIO might be a bit too much of a step, I'd at least want to step down to a softer pad with the IP if I was going to to right to KAIO (usually you would step down to FPII).



Do you have a white pad for the KAIO? I would use the Klasse SG by hand, but if you're going to use a machine, the black pad would be the one. If you're using a single app. of SG, followed by Souveran, your longevity may not be that great.



Anyway, as to your basic question, wash, clay, polish, AIO, sealant, wax...yeah, that's ok.
