4 weeks ago I decided to do my part in helping local industry and bought a GM car after swearing I would never do it again a few years ago. Anyway there were a few things wrong with the car like the fuel gauge, trim panels that didn't fit and windows that worked from time to time so back to the dealer it went. When I got it back 8 days later there was a stone chip on the hood and not a small one. I specifically requested that the dealer not wash the car which they agreed not to. When I got it home last night finished washing it and noticed the chip I called them to complain. There response, the car was dirty when it was here nobody notieced it and you requested it not be cleaned. Had we washed it we would have notieced it if it was there. You have no proof that it happened when it was at the dealer. The car is Ivory white and it got rained on once for about 10 mins, it wasn't dirty.
Any suggestions? It's right on the hood, should I get one of those paint touchup pens or just take it to a body shop to be fixed?
