New black truck

I just bought a 2001 Toyota 4Runner it's black and it looks sweet! I want to keep it looking good. it has some slight swirl marks but other than that the paint is in great. This is my first black vehicle and I want to do it right.



I have a PC and I have Griot's orange and yellow pads. I do not like Griot's polish and wax though. Should I stay with wax or use a Klasse type product. All input is welcomed.
 
Neither wax or Klasse will get rid of your swirls. You'll need something else to do that. Check out the eBook. There is a whole section on PC use and how to get rid of swirls. There are also a few pretty comprehensive threads on that subject kicking around here. :xyxthumbs
 
Sounds like you're good to go. Congrats on the new vehicle.



That book is great. Griot's also has one free for download, but they only mention their products.



I've got zaino waiting, but I like spending time with my car so I'm keeping carnuba for a while. When it gets too hot out, then I'll go Zaino and try that for a year.
