heres something new i did today . ive got a good combo i like but i did my truck today and went in a different direction . i usually do P&S MEDIUM CLAY then ultracoat polish followed by P&S CARNUBA CREME WAX OR PAR-K SHOW CAR WAX . today i did clay followed by P&S SMART COMPOUND which does not haze with the pc . it removes swirls from the rotary real nice also . i skipped the polish and used P&S ULTRA COAT WAX which is theyre polymer sealer . i skipped the polish because it REALLY brightens the finish and for me i dont like black real bright . i really like the look and i might top it with carnuba but i kind of like it the way it looks .. what do you guys think?.oh yea everything applied with pc speed 5 with polish pads . removed with costco microfiber towels

i dont think the tires will take any more dressing . i use solvent based dressing on customers cars because it gives a real kick .. and these tires wont shine anymore ,, might be time to degrease them again to get the build up off of them . i think as detailers we cant get stuck on the same routine all the time. i was using that compound to remove some rotary swirls on the front fender and the fender looked so good i skipped a few steps and came up with a combo i like better than anything previous .. i take pride in fixing black paint and im never totally satisfied with the outcome but im going to use this process until i think of another way to do it better and faster
 
You have that black blinging! Excellent job! Where's the Nu Finish in your combo?
 
I couldnt find any NU FINISH so i went with this combo . also im afraid if i use the NU FINISH i will have people following me home groveling at my feet for me to detail there cars with that amazing product. also im afraid of getting pulled over for excessive BLING BLING.

bigron62, geat job:bigups !!! As a owner of a black truck that is the look I have been looking for. I was a little disappointed that you didn't use NU FINISH. But I think we all understantd that you can take perfection only so far:lmfao
