Negative Posts and thank you

Well I just tried to go back to that thread and edit my post...and behold it was deleted..I thought I was doing the thread good by telling this guy to get his act together and don't be so harsh on people...Am I the one doing the wrong here? Im lost...

Thanks for the backup as well in the Pilot thread...That work is too good to be shot down like that. I hate to see peoples work being called lame when the results are amazing.

i trust it will all work out, don't worry about it. i have reported him.

he's such a stand-up person, he leaves me a karma message with the comment solely "dumb***"

What a character!!

Something doesn't seem right with this, that member has been here a long time and I don't remember anything along those lines before.

I am glad this is all being taken care of...I trust the mods will make the right decision and ban, he has nothing positive to add to these threads if he is just going to knock down peoples work and make fun of autopian rules. I dont see where people get off thinking their detailing skills are better than others, especially when the work being mocked is using zaino vs. techniques like a simple pressure wash and megs. 3 step...

Thank you also to the mods..I know some of us have had quite the temper and flare up with this situation (myself definately included) Thanks for quickly getting on top of this situation..I hate when people are put down negatively :sosad

well if there is a way you can see what he left in my rep, by all means check it out. i think only i and mods can see it though.

I believe you, I just don't remember that member being a troublemaker before.

EDIT: Wow, someone just PM'd me one of the deleted posts, don't know what was going on between you two, but that was pretty uncalled for.

If necessary, the other mods will fill me in on any details that need to be tended.to. I feel it is best judgment to refrain from making public threads of this nature in the future and simply click the warn button on a post in question or PM/e-mail a mod or the administrator. Calling out an issue you have with a particular member/s in public tends to increase the likelihood the whole thing will grow more sour.

Believe me Joshua312 you did nothing wrong but take it from someone who also hates reading non-productive statements, it is best to just ignore and not validate by responding.

Mike, L-Jeeper's comments today have been quite out of character for the member we all know. I wonder if he has any children or someone in his household posting under his login?

This has happened before.

I did read the unedited version earlier this afternoon. :(

Reminds me of the H2 debacle a year or two ago... :down

I remember that. A great Hummer detail turned into a forum for the anti-SUV crowd. That NSX with Zymol thread had comments about Zymol's cost that really shouldn't have been posted, focus on the detail and the hard work involved and less on the products. Some people I know think I am nuts popping for a $70 jar of Souveran. :nervous2:

Well products set aside...No matter what no one should have their detail bashed. I hope that we can give Mike the benefit of the doubt and get this all resolved, hopefully it was just a son or something. For a member with that many posts I just cant believe what it came to today. However, the remarks were very disrespectful.
