Needeth new polish to replace DACP

DACP and IP haven't been...cutting it..recently. They're terrific for a lot of cars, but they aren't strong enough for some.

What about that new Swirlbuster polish? Has anybody tried it with the cyclo and regular pads? Filling really doesn't bother me, as I'm certain many polishes fill anyway. AND a lot of my customers...well, they're just going to create new swirls anyway.

I would like to order from some place where I can buy some polishing pads for my cyclo, too. If I don't have to pay for shipping twice, that would be terrific.

Thanks. :)

Have you considered OHC at all? It's probably a kind of obvious recommendation; but I find it fills the gap between DACP/IP and the more aggressive compounds (PG/SSR3/EC etc...) very well. Actually I've been using it a lot lately for the same reasons you mentioned; IP just doesn't have enough bite to remove some moderate marring but PG is overkill...

Are we talking about via PC/cyclo or rotary?

IMO, if a finish needs more than DACP or IP via PC can tackle, that's when it's time to break out the rotary. IMO, most polishes that are stronger than those two don't typically work too well with the PC/cyclo.

Oh yes, I agree. I thought we were speaking about rotary/cyclo. On a rotary OHC/orange, FPII/white is definitely do-able. I have no used a cylco, but I would imagine it'd be a good combo on that too.

Via PC you might need an extra step in betweem OHC and FPII (*might*), if that's the case either Opt Compound or IP would do the job.

I agree with ebcivicsi; anything more aggressive that IP/SSR2.5/DACP starts to get a little wonky on the PC, though that's probably less so with OHC than say PG or SSR3.
