need your help and idea

i've been surfing the forums for a month or so. finally the weather is nice enough to do some detailing. my car is old 92 lexus black no clear coat sc300 i don't expect alot from the paint it has chips and scatches. since i'm a begginer with no pc i can't really do to much. i'm going to try my best with my hands. also i'm a college student so i don't have too much to spend on detailing products. what do you guys dink of my plan to detail.



1. dawn it

2. clay

3. wash it

4. meg color x hopefully it will help hide some scratches.

5. meg nxt wax. or just regular turtle wax.





hopefully it bring back the luster from dull black to rich wet black

I would skip the dawn step. While I have done it myself (it was recommended before applying Zaino), now I really don't think it's necessary even for Zaino. If anything, there are some good dedicated paint cleaners.



In your case I would wash, clay, wash, do the rest.
