Need waz layer after zaino?

ok so heres my usual process for detailing my car.



1. Wash

2. Clay bar

3. Wash again.

4. z-5 applied with PC (number of times depends)

5. Z-2 applied with PC (3-5 coats)

6. Meguiars gold class wax applied with PC





Is step number 6 required or recommended? What do you guys think? Thanks.
 
Do a search. This is a current topic in Autopia University. Put in some effort before you start asking questions.
 
I wouldn't use Gold Class, since it has cleaners, which would deminish what your Z-2 provides. Use somthing like mothers pure carnuba. Its cheap, and it works great.
 
Sorry for not searching. I had no idea there would be someone else asking the exact same question. My bad, I will search next time.



Buick guy, I think im just gonna stick with the Zaino and no wax. After what I read in the other thread, that seems to be the general consensus.
