:) Hello everyone. I am new to detailing and after reading the different tips on this forum I realize I know nothing. My girlfriend has a dark green 1998 Honda Accord with some swirl marks. I purchased the following to give the car the wow look. Please leave any feed back. Thanks a million.

Menzerna Intensive Polish

Menzerna final Polish

Klasse all in one

Klasse High gloss Selant glaze

Souveran

Mother’s show time.

Looking for a good glass cleaner.

I also have Blackfire. I did not know that I could use both BF and Klasse. :nixweiss

Welcome to Autopia! I haven't posted in a while here and been a little out of the loop but I do know that Autopia University is a great place to start. Obviously being a contributing member, you know that the e-book is a great resource and reference. Detailing is individual, it's about finding what works for you and what you think looks good. There are lots of threads out there regarding 'swirl marks' and you will find lots of varying opinions and techniques. Good luck and have fun along the way.

Oh, by the way, Eiman Fabrik Clear Vision with a microfiber towel is great on glass!

Looks like you got everything you need to get started. How about a PC?

For glass, I like EO 20/20. Cheap and available locally.

CAPEFEAR,

I personally have had the best result polishing paint using a PC and CMA's Advanced Foam Pads.

Re: Menzerna polishes, on CMA's website, there are some pretty good tutorials on how to use them. Click on the link to read.

Menzerna Intensive Polish write up

Menzerna Final Polish write up

I have both polishes on order and I am reading the above write ups for ideas on technique.

Start with the Menzerna Intensive, then the final, then apply AIO. I like AIO but have not used the SG. I have topped AIO with Souveran with great results. Souveran is pretty easy to use, wipe on - wipe off.

After you have applied the Klasse and top with Souveran, maintain with the Show Time.

Any glass cleaner used with a good microfiber towel should work pretty well. I personally use Griot's Window Cleaner.

Do some research, and go for it!

Good luck with your shine Therapy! :D

Cheers,
