Need Something New for Silver

I'm going to be giving the wife's BMW the "once over" prior to winter. It will most likely only a need a wash (obviously), a quick claying, a mild polish (Meg's 205) and a LSP.

It's the LSP that I'd like some suggestions on. The official color according to BMW is Titanium Silver Metallic - although I really don't see much metallic in the paint.

My first thought is to use Collinite 845 - mainly because it's fairly bullet proof and does look great on silver. Why do I want to try something new if Collinite works for me? Well, I'm a member on this forum - that should tell you something - and frankly I'm a little bored with it and simply want to try something new.

Requirements for the new product are:

1. Good durability as it will be my Winter LSP (Connecticut winter)

2. Look good on Silver (I do like the pop that 845 gives to silver)

I was thinking of FK 1000. Yes/No??? I have never tried it before but it does get decent reviews here.

Any other product recommendations would be very welcome.

Thanks!!

FK1000P would certainly be a good choice as would Duragloss 111 or Zaino Z2, both look amazing on silver. I also really like NXT/#21 on silver. M16 is another great one if you can find it.

Assuming it is metal flake, I have been using Autoglym SRP with Autoglym EGP more and more on silver and whites with metal flake. It really makes the metal flake "pop" and has very good durability.
