Here's the deal. I'd like to begin offering my services to other people rather than just friends and family. Here's the dilemma. I can't afford insure or a full mobile setup. From what I understand, I can get myself into a lot of trouble if I "mess up" someone's paint, or even if they simply claim I do.
My question to you is: how do I go about starting a part-time detailing service if I cannot afford a full mobile detailing setup? What do I do about water, and electric usage? I obviously can't provide my own water from my honda civic (unless I bring a couple buckets of water and only do ONR washes). How do I say, "uhhh I need to use your hose?" I have been doing all details at my parents house thus far; so I have all resources at the ready. What do I do about insurance? I'm realizing that this is harder than I expected. I'm only 19 and will be going back to college in the fall.
Oh, and while I'm at it. Here's my new website: Detailed Touch
How are the prices, packages, and overall design? As you can see, there are no packages that offer polishing. While I am capable of it, I figured it's not even worth thinking about offering if I don't have insurance.
The banner on top is just a placeholder for now, and the website is obviously not finished yet.
I'm very tired right now so there may be some errors in my website/thread.
Thanks for reading. Any comments or criticism is welcome.
