Hi all,

Well over the last 3 years my life has changed allot.. Now married and 2 little ones..

The cars have taken a back seat to other things

Well, I recently hired a fellow autopia to detail all three of the vehicles, so they are back up to clean and shiny status!

I want to buy some new products to keep up on them, all my products and knowledge are years old!

What would you suggest for

1) wash soap (I will be buying a foam gun)

2) Quick detail spray

3) wax

4) light polish

5) exterior black moldings and other black plastic

6) Windows (I currently use Stoners Invisible glass.. is this still the standard?)

7) interior protectant (I use 303, is this still one of the better ones?)

8) Wheel cleaner (the wheels on our cars are clear coated)

9) Tire dressing

10) Wheel well dressing

110 Leather products? I used Zaino Bro's in the past

Also:

11) What is a good washmit to use?

12) Drying, what’s best method/products to dry? So many Micro fiber towels out there? any suggestions?

13) what’s best for windows? micro fiber?

any help is appreciated, I know there are lots of good products out there, but there are so many different ones..!

thanks for any pros/cons on products

bans25- Everybody has their favorites, but I'll toss out my $0.02:

1) Meg's Gold Class or (preferably) DuraGloss for OTC. Meg's #62 if there's an autobody/supply place handy. Griot's if you order (my fave).

2) FK425 but I only use it after a wash.

3) Collinite for durability, Souveran for looks, Meg's #16 for both if you can find it.

4) 3M Perfect-It III Machine Glaze 05937 (it's not a glaze and it works by hand) while you can still find it (places like HERE or at the autobody supply places) or else 1Z MetallicPolishWax from Pakshak.

5) Autoglym Bumper Care or the Klasse twins (I usually use the latter).

6) That's fine.

7) That's fine.

8) I seal mine with Klasse or the Collinite wax and just use carwash shampoo, but Griot's and P21s wheel cleaners work well for me too (but they strip wax).

9) Zaino Z16.

10) Griot's Undercarriage Spray or the Z16 or Armor All.

110) I use Pinnacle, Conolly, Lexol, Griot's, "Jaguar". Find something you like the smell of.

11) I got my sheepskin ones from the Autopia store, but you oughta consider BHBs for use with the foamgun. I got my BHBs from AutoGeek the last time.

12) Somebody's waffle-weaves. My faves aren't around so I dunno which ones are best now.

13) AutoGeek has some WWMFs made for windows that work incredibly well for me.
