Hey guys this is my first post on the great AUTOPIA. I have been reading and gaining information for the past couple months now and have just registerd.

I will be getting a pc 7336 and sonus kit for christmas and was wondering how to tackle my black acura. It has some spiderwebbing or swirls that can be seen in the sun, not completely sure of difference, and a few minor scratches.

I was considering this process to get my paint looking spectacular:

NXT wash

Clay which was done a few months ago

SSR 2.5

SSR 1

NXT or UPP

#16

I also have Megs #9, 3M SMR, and Meg Deep Crystal Polish, and was wondering how those rated compared to what Ive listed.

Finally what pads should I use with each step, and is there any chance of doing significant damage with any of these products

Thanks for all your help and here are some pics of my

Good lookin Car and Welcome to Autopia !!! If you are set on those products listed(good choice's BTW) I would suggest to ALWAYS start with a "lesser" aggresive pad. So with the 2.5 use the LC white pad first, and if that isnt cutting it, go with the Orange pad and then use the SSR 1 with the white pad after !!!The 2.5 has the ability to make the car look great by itself, but I would still make a pass with the SSR 1 after the 2.5.

After you are satisfied with the PB results, NXT or UPP with the finishing pad and # 16 by hand !!! Sweet !!!
