Need some help...

I finally got my Klasse kit after 3 weeks of waiting. It comes with the AIO, Sealant Glaze, and the Wheel Cleaner along with two Euroshine Microfiber towels and two terry pads. Well I washed my car with the Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash and then applied the AIO. I like the shine and gloss but I still see a lot of scratchlines. I was wondering how I could fix this...I have these following products lying around or I can use along with my Klasse:



Meguiars Body Scrub Paint Cleaner

Meguiars Deep Crystal System Polish 2

Turtle Wax Scratch Remover

Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound

Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover

Sears 9" Random Oribital Buffer



Do I need to use AIO again before I apply Sealant Glaze for the first time?

If the AIO did not handle it, you are going to have to buff out the car with a more effective polish. Much has been posted here on how to do that. I would suggest you search the archives.
 
Just wondering which products that I listed above might help me out with this problem or can be used along with the Klasse system.
 
Start with the least abrasive un move your way up until you get the desired results. I am unsure of the products you listed but I would guess for the TW products the order from least to most is:

Turtle Wax Scratch Remover

Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound



I am not sure at all about Meguiars Deep Crystal System Polish 2.



Most here talk about other products but what the heck try them out and tell us how it goes.

IIRC, Body Scrub is pretty darn aggressive. Try to remove the scratches with a little polish 2 by hand using a foam or terry applicator - - just as an experiment. If it works then you're good to go. If not, then you know you need something a bit more serious, like the Body Scrub.



I have no experience with the Turtle Wax stuff so can't comment intelligently. But you may want to experiment with a little of that too, just for comparison sake.

Working with what you have you can do another coat of AIO with the the buffer and medium weight applied to the buffer. If that doesn't get rid of the scratchs then you will need something more aggressive. Like GMN said you want to try the most mild first on a section then look to see if it is doing the job.

Lighting can make a HUGE difference in what you can see. Try to work under flourescent or halogen lights. That way if your lighting is constant you will be able to make a more scientific comparison of different products.

When you get to a level of product that removes the scratchs then use that product followed by the next mildest and the next mildest. For example if you had to start at the bottom of the list of products at the bottom of this post, you would then work your way up to the top, before waxing or sealing the finish.

I like 3M Products for tasks like this because they have a graduated scale of abrasive products which will allow you to choose the right product for the job. The first item the SMR is not classified as a rubbing compound because it is so fine and it has the added benefit of leaving a very smooth glazed looking surface. IMO these products will all work better with the buffer.

I applied the Sealant Glaze today...Oops, becoming a Klasse addict...hehe...love the shine and gloss! (my car doubles as a mirror now haha) Do I have to remove this layer before going with these SMR's? How would I go about doing this?



What type of pad should I use on my buffer to apply the SMR and remove it?
