Need some help with 3M products...

I am currently using 3M SMR and IHG. I notice that when using the SMR on my black car, there still seems to be some swirls left on the hood mostly. I am looking for something a bit more abrasive than the SMR and have looked into 3M Finesse-It, is this product good? Any other recommendations for my needs? Thanks ;)
 
FI2 (or FI-II) would be the ticket for more aggressive cutting action. With Meguiar's look for #2 Fine Cut Cleaner. Both are readily available at retail.
