Hello Autopia,

Max here and i need some new waxes, the best i have now is just som AG HD wax and a pinacle souvren wax sample. have considerd CG Butter wax or megs #6 i think it was, what about colinlite or adams?

So tell me whats your fave wax

lokking for a 10$ to 16$ range

Meguiars M26 is awesome and in that price range, also M16. Collinite 476, 845, or 915 are a little more but well worth it from what I have heard. Poorboys Red or Blue are around $20 and very good looking also.

Within the $10-$16 range, do consider Mothers' Reflections. You can get a bottle from Amazon.com for only $11 (free shipping if total purchase exceeds $25). Crisp, clear shine. Exceptionally easy to apply and remove. I've never experienced any streaking problems with it.

I don't know if Reflections is considered Mother's professional line or not, though it is used and recommended by one of the professional detailers here in Roanoke.

there is a actual professional line of mothers products, but reflections wax and top coat are part of the reflections line. i dont believe they offer a lsp in the pro line

You already have AG HD and Souveran and you're looking for something better for under $16? Good luck with that.

lol the souvren is a sample there buddy

Yes it is BUT you titled the thread "Need some better waxes" then you list that you have AG and Souveran and want something in the $10-$16 range. See the confusion in what you're asking?

Kind of this.

I highly recommend M16 for longevity, doesn't look bad either; same goes for NXT. I have one bottle/tub of each wax in my collection, except NXT and M16, that should tell you something. I have 12 tins of M16 (more than a lifetimes worth, even using it on customers) and two bottles of NXT. NXT wins for easy to use and extra glassy while M16 wins for carnauba slickniss, unbelievable beading and lasts and lasts, probably my favorite LSP.

I've never used it but I've heard really good things about M26, especially on dark cars. Pick up some Ultimate Quick Wax while you're at it, its about $9 at Walmart, is the perfect topper ofr a coat of wax, makes any paint shed water like crazy and adds the look and slickness of a fresh coat of wax with a simple spray. It smells good too, you might want to stick a straw in there and suck up some of that fruit punchy goodness.

Is durability a factor? Cause if it is then look no further than Collinite 845 or 476 in a paste.

Megs #26 is very good also for the price, but won't match Collinite for durability.

For another 10-$15 bucks you would also open yourself up to some very fine sealants, just a thought.

I second the FK Pink Wax recommendation. It has excellent looks and durability. Smells horrible, but that's how you know it is a real wax and not some fufu stuff.
