Stepped up from SSR2.5 w/ Orange LC pad to SSR2.5 w/ Yellow LC Pad. This helped alot on the severely horrible finish on my black T/A (wait for pics in the next few days.. ur gonna love the nasty pics of my car). The SSR2.5 w/ yellow pad was still not tackling alot of the marring on almost all of my panels. I am thinking that I am going to go find some 3M Fine Cut tomorrow and begin using that to tackle those scratches.
Basicly I only need to know two things.
1- W/ a PC, it should be safe to assume that one pass on the whole car w/ 3M won't be aggressive enough to cause damage, correct?
2- Is it ok to use the 3M fine cut on the yellow pad, or is that too aggressive? If I need to use it on an orange pad, I'm gonna have to hold off, as my only orange pad is already used frequently w/ a diff product. If the yellow is ok to use, I'll do that tomorrow and post pics.
I am planning to do one pass (hopefully a light one, low pressure) w/ 3m. Then I plan to follow up with SSR2.5 on Orange and SSR1 on white (already have those)... OR follow up with DACP on Orange and then either 3m SMR or Megs SMR on white (don't have those 3 products but can pick them up if they are much better choices, help me out on deciding please)
If anyone can give me some solid advice on all of this before tomorrow ~5pm... I can pick up whatever I need and go at it (I like to work on my car near sunset and in the dark w/ halogens (sooooo hot in the day now!)
