Need opinions on this problem

This question came up at another forum and it is rather puzzling if what the person says is correct. Any opinions on what it is would be appreciated. TIA



"There is a cloudy spot in my paint that I haven't been able to get out. It was a lot bigger than it is now, I used a clay bar and that took most of whatever it is off the paint. Do any of you have any suggestions on getting rid of this? Also, I wasn't using the Zaino lube with the clay bar, just water. Would the lube help to remove more of whatever this is?"

It almost looks as if there was some moisture that got trapped on the paint when they put the clear coat on????



I really have no idea, just throwing out my .02 about what I might think is the problem.

The guy claims its on the surface only, but I have doubts since he also says the area is growing. Moisture or the paint separating from the primer was my 1st thought, but his comment about getting it off with clay, only to see it return has me stumped. :nixweiss Wonder if something was present (silicone maybe?) when he started applying Zaino (Zaino was used since the car was new)?
 
Moisture under the paint would come out in lotsa little bubbles.



'Microblistering' is the technical term.



To me looks like either a dodgy paint job, or more like burnt clear coat.



Without looking at it in the flesh, I couldnt say for certain.
