Need help from you detailing gurus....

Detailing a metallic blue BMW, and I've got water spots all over that I just can't get rid of! I've tried Claymagic, SMR, AIO, Perfect-it II rubbing compound, PC'd it with the above products, nothing's taking it off! Could they be acid rain etchings?

Help! What other products can I use to take these spots off?

How long did you work on the spots? I witnessed Mike Phillips helping a fellow Autopian with water spots on a black BMW and they worked on the hood alone for an hour with PC's-that's two guys with their own PC's! I know he mentioned later that he spent 12 hours doing the rest of the car the next day and you could still see some faint spots. I believe he was using DACP on the hood but not sure about the rest of it.

Not to say you aren't working hard on the spots but it did take them quite some time working with the PC. Water spots are a royal pain. If you aren't having any luck with the products you are currently using you might want to try some DACP.

Best of luck with those darn spots.
