Ok so im doing a detail on my 07 GT, but im not sure on the exact order i should work some of my products. Im gonna wash/clay first obviously but not sure after that

Heres what im working with (in what order i THINK is right):

Duragloss 101

Clearkote Compound (is this stuff aggressive or fairly mild?) i might not do this step

Menzerna Nano 106/ Super intensive Polish if needed

Danase Wet Glaze

Duragloss 105

another coat of duragloss 105

Nattys Blue

I have Duragloss 951 Aquawax also, but wheres this fit in?

How bad do you think the swirls/scratches are?

I actually believe 106 on a orange pad and then a white pad will do a damn good job.

I think you have too many steps personally. Especially with winter around the corner. I would leave out the Natty's/DWG. Unless you plan on redoing it before winter.

I would do this:

Wash

Clay

106ff on Orange

106ff on White

101

105 X2

AW 951 <- I would leave this step out, but since it goes on so damn quick. You minus well apply some.

I'd save the glaze and the nattys for the summer since they won't last in the winter.

Appreciate the input, however im in texas. My winter is about 1 to 1 1/2 months long. If i do use DWG, does it go on before or after my sealants?

I was truly impressed with DWG. I have used if before sealants like KSG and Opti-seal. It plays well with those two and, I've heard, most other sealants.

I've even used it "sandwiched" between fully cured sealants, as well as re-applied it over a sealant after a time and then let it cure and re-sealed.

If you are looking to save steps/layers, then apply it under your sealant.

I might try DWG as my LSP just as a test, although durability will likely not be as good...
