Need help starting my business. and is chemical guys a good supplier?

Hi everyone. i have a question about my new business i am starting. The first question i have is.... Is chemical guys a good source to buy the supplies from? also i would like any tips that anyone might know about starting a small mobile detailing business i can use all the input i can get.
 
I use Chemical Guys almost exclusively. I love there stuff. If you're starting out and cash is an issue I would order the 16oz sizes to get the most for your money. I think it's great using one manufacturer who will provide support. It seems simpler that way and if you get a wild hair they will also do private label stuff.
 
Can you guys tell me what a really fine finishing polish is from CG? When I say fine I mean along the lines of 85RD or 87MC from Menzerna.



I feel like there is so much overlap in description from CG that that is the single biggest deal breaker from me buying their products.
 
They have the All-in-One polish and I have seen some good results but some people even on this board do not like it. I use P40 and FP as a fine polish. FP is considered ultra fine so that is probably what you are looking for. Ill be using it on Saturday on a Porsche Cayman S. Ill see if I can get some good picks. Im also doing an Expedition early early Saturday morning (long day) but Ill have to get a little more aggressive. Maybe Ill post some picks. Im pretty new to the board and have a crappy camera.
 
Do you have enough of the p40 and the FP to sample a couple ounces?



One of my concerns with CG stuff is while they market them as ultrafine, they are in fact ultrafine, but only on hard paintwork. Soft paint IME with CG stuff marrs like crazy..
