A customer called me today looking to schedule an appointment for her RV. We've been playing phone tag so I haven't actually talked to her yet, but in her initial message she said she had a Class B (I thought she said Class V, but some googling makes me thing it was Class B as I didn't find anything for Class V), 22' RV.
I've never actually detailed an RV before because my old shop wasn't big enough, so I don't know how to price this out. Of course I am going to tell her I need to see it first, but even once I see it I think I would have a tough time giving her an estimate. I'm planning on charging by the hour (or potentially by the foot), but I'm looking for ideas on what some of my fellow detailers have charged for this type of job in the past. I'm going on the assumption that she wants a full detail inside and out. Thanks.
